CHILD CARE INFORMATION SERVICES
Since 1991, EOC Child Care Information Services (CCIS) has
served as a resource and referral program for all questions,
issues and concerns about child care in Warren and Forest counties.
This program:
- Provides referrals and information for all licensed and
registered child care facilities
- Offers consumer education materials on how to recognize
quality child care
- Assists providers and those who are interested in becoming
providers with licensing, daily operations, understanding
regulations, identifying funding sources and grants, and obtaining
required training credits
- Manages subsidized funding for eligible families needing
assistance with child care costs, including families eligible
for child care services through the County Assistance offices
CCIS is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare
(DPW) through the Office of Child Development, and partners
with the Warren-Forest Child/Care Community Engagement Coalition,
Planning for Early Care & Education. The Coalition is dedicated
to promoting quality child care, school readiness, and community
priorities.
